Ingredients:
1 quart select oysters
2 eggs
2 tbsp. milk
cup bread crumbs, cracker crumbs, or cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
Cooking Instructions:
Drain oysters. Mix eggs, milk and seasonings. Dip oysters in egg mixture and roll in crumbs. Fry in hot oil; when brown on one side, turn and brown other side. Cooking time about 5 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve immediately with slices of lemon or tarter sauce
