Ingredients:
1 (9-inch) pie shell
8 ounces (1 cup) cooked crabmeat
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
2 large eggs, plus 2 large egg yolks
3/4 cup whole milk
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 tablespoons dry sherry
Pinch cayenne pepper
Cooking Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Toss crabmeat with chopped chives. Arrange evenly over bottom of pie shell and set shell on oven rack. Whisk all remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. Pour in custard mixture. Bake until lightly brown, until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes.
Serving Suggestions:
Serve warm or at room temperature.
